Pure carbon, crystallized above ground in six weeks. Same atoms, same fire, same forever — with a paper trail to prove it. Everything worth knowing, before you buy.
A mined diamond forms a hundred miles underground, over a billion years.
Ours forms in a chamber we can walk to, in six weeks.
The diamond is the same.
Every Adaia stone begins as a sliver of diamond and ends as your own. No pits, no middlemen, no mystery — here is the whole journey.
A wafer of pure diamond, thinner than a fingernail. It carries the crystal lattice every new layer will follow — the blueprint of the stone to come.
Carbon-rich gas, heated to 900°C at low pressure, rains carbon onto the seed — layer over layer into a single rough crystal. The physics of the mantle, minus the mantle.
The rough is mapped, cleaved and faceted by the same cutters, on the same wheels, to the same tolerances as any mined stone. From here, no jeweler's loupe can tell them apart.
Grown and mined diamonds are graded by the same labs, on the same scale, because they are the same material. The difference is the first chapter — and the bill.
Retail comparison at equal carat, cut, color and clarity. One row buys an origin story — the rest of the table is the same stone.
Cut, color, clarity, carat. Every diamond on earth — grown or mined — is graded on the same four scales. Learn to read them and you cannot be oversold.
The only C made entirely by human hands. Proportions decide how light enters, bounces, and returns to your eye — brilliance is engineered, not found. Too shallow or too deep, and light leaks out the sides.
Adaia's take — never trade cut for size. Excellent cut, always.
Graded D (colorless) to Z (warm), by comparison against master stones under lab light. The difference between neighboring grades is invisible anywhere else.
Adaia's take — D–F pays for a letter, not a look. G–H reads icy white in every light.
The chamber leaves fingerprints, just as the earth does: tiny inclusions, ranked from FL (flawless) down to I (included), judged at 10× magnification.
Adaia's take — VS1–VS2 is invisible without a loupe. Above that, you're paying for the microscope.
Weight, not size. A well-cut 1.00 ct faces up larger than a deep 1.20 ct — which is why carat is the last C to decide, not the first.
Adaia's take — buy just under the round numbers: 0.90, 1.90. Same look, real savings.
An Adaia certificate is not our opinion of our own stone. It is {{ certLabLong }}'s — issued before the diamond ever meets a setting.
Independent, not ours. Every stone is graded by {{ certLab }} — the same institute that grades mined diamonds — before we ever price it.
The report states the origin — laboratory-grown — alongside the four Cs, exact measurements, proportions and finish. Nothing left to trust; everything stated.
The report number is laser-etched on the girdle — microscopic, permanent. Your stone can never be swapped, mixed up, or mistaken for another.
Choosing lab-grown is mostly about what doesn't happen. Three ledgers we are glad to keep — and publish.
No open pit, no tailings dam, no diverted river. The entire footprint of an Adaia stone fits inside a building.
Growing takes real electricity — the honest cost of lab-grown. Our growers run on certified renewable power, and we publish the mix each year.
A short, visible supply chain: chamber, cutter, setter, you. Every hand along the way is documented — and paid accordingly.
No halo, just arithmetic — lab-grown is not zero-impact. It is an impact we can measure, publish, and shrink.
{{ f.a }}
Every stone graded by {{ certLab }} before it meets a setting. Report included, registry-verifiable.
Chemically, optically, physically diamond. 10 on the Mohs scale, forever.
Tracked and insured door to door, signature on receipt.
Free resizing, re-polishing and prong checks — for as long as the ring exists.
One letter a month: new cuts, honest price notes, and what's actually changing in the diamond trade. No noise.
